The research method used is Pre-Experiment with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design, sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The instrument used is Critical Thinking Skills Essay Test with 9 questions that have been adjusted to the indicators of Critical Thinking Skills involving 35 students as research subjects. The results of the study show that the Application of Guided Inquiry Model using Concept Mapping Method assisted by Xmind significantly improves critical thinking skills of students in SMA Negeri 5 Barru. The population in this study were all class XI AP SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar. The sample in this study was class XI AP 1 as the Experimental class and XI AP 2 as the control class. The sampling technique used cluster sampling. The instrument used in this study was an essay test of reflective thinking skills given before and after learning in the Experimental class and the Control class which had been validated by the validator team. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of the research and discussion obtained several conclusions, namely the reflective thinking skills of class XI AP 1 students of SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar with learning using the Open-Ended approach were generally in the high category. The reflective thinking skills of class XI AP 2 students of SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar with learning using the Scientific approach were generally in the high category. There is no significant difference in students' reflective thinking skills between those taught through the Open-Ended approach and those taught with the scientific approach in class XI AP 1 and class XI AP 2 of SMK YPLP PGRI 1 Makassar. This study is a Quasi Experimental Design study. The sample in this study was grade IX of Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar Middle School with a total of 52 students spread across two classes using the cluster random sampling method, one class as the control class and one class as the experimental class. The instrument used to collect data was a mathematical communication ability test conducted before being given treatment (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest) as well as observation of the implementation sheet. The data analysis of this study was descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing used a paired t-test. The results of the study showed that both descriptively and inferentially the mathematical communication skills of students taught using the reciprocal teaching model were in the fairly high category and the mathematical communication skills taught with the reciprocal teaching model were higher than the mathematical communication skills taught with the conventional model. Thus, it is concluded that the application of the reciprocal teaching model has an effect on the mathematical communication skills of class IX students of Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar Middle School.</p> Nuraziza Ilham Minggi Wahyuddin Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (JKIP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-06-28 2024-06-28 11 1 20 31 10.56983/jkip.v11i1.1952 The Effect of Synergetic Teaching Strategy on Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes on Interview Topic for Grade Iv Students of State Elementary School 233 Abbinenge Soppeng Regency https://jurnal.fkip.unismuh.ac.id/index.php/jkip/article/view/1953 <p>This study aims to determine the effect of the Synergetic teaching strategy on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language on the subject of interviews in grade IV students of SDN 233 Abbinenge, Soppeng Regency. This study is a quantitative experimental study. The experimental design used in this study was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were fourth-grade students at SDN 233 Abbinenge, consisting of one class with 18 students, 6 girls and 12 boys. Data collection techniques were carried out using a test method (Essay Test) to obtain data on student learning outcomes and an observation method to determine student activities during the study. This study shows that the application of the Synergetic Teaching learning strategy has a positive effect on student learning outcomes, especially in Indonesian language learning on the topic of interviews. In testing the hypothesis, the researcher used a t-test. Based on the t-test calculation with a significance level of 5%, the t-count was 7.61 and the t-table at α = 5% and db = (18 – 1) = 17 was 1.73. Because tcount &gt; ttable, this shows that Indonesian language learning outcomes using the Synergetic Teaching strategy are better than conventional learning outcomes or learning outcomes that do not use the Synergetic Teaching strategy. Based on the average learning outcomes of students, the pre-test score was 70.48 and the post-test score was 85.42. Thus, it can be concluded that the Synergetic Teaching strategy has an effect on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language on the topic of interviews in grade IV students at SD Negeri 233 Abbinenge, Soppeng Regency, in the 2020/2021 academic year.</p> Heri Herlina Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (JKIP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-06-28 2024-06-28 11 1 32 48 10.56983/jkip.v11i1.1953 Implementation of Character Education in Civic Education Learning at SDN 2 Kalosi, Alla District, Enrekang Regency https://jurnal.fkip.unismuh.ac.id/index.php/jkip/article/view/1954 <p>The main issues in this study are how character education is implemented in Civic Education at SDN 2 Kalosi Elementary School, Alla District, Enrekang Regency, and the factors that influence the implementation of character education in Civic Education at SDN 2 Kalosi Elementary School, Alla District, Enrekang Regency. This study is descriptive-qualitative in nature. The data collection techniques used included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis method used consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study show that the implementation of character education in Civic Education learning is based on the 2013 curriculum, which includes character values ​​in every lesson plan (RPP). Teachers use this plan as a guide in implementing learning and instilling character values ​​in accordance with learning activities. The implementation of character education in Civic Education learning is included in thematic learning so that the instilling of character values ​​is followed by other learning activities. Factors that influence the implementation of character learning include environmental factors, cultural factors, family factors, and instinctive factors.
