THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHER’S DISCIPLINE TO THE STUDENTS’ CHARACTER IN TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out whether the influence of teacher’s discipline and the form of teachers discipline in teaching learning process. The method used was qualitative descriptive method which the instruments were observation sheet and interview for students. The participants of this research were one teacher and 25 students of the seventh grade of SMP Aisyiyah Paccinongang. The data were collected through observation and interview. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The findings of this research showed that the form of teacher discipline in SMP Aisyiyah Paccinongang, the punctuality of the teacher arriving at school or in class and was being able to manage the class well. A significance influence on students when the teacher arrived on time to teach class was very influential thing on students’ motivation in learning. Being able to manage class well made the students became diligent and eager to learn.
